In this class we will be exploring how yoga can help build better gut integrity. The health of our digestion and gut is so essential in terms of living a balanced lifestyle. The food we eat, the experiences we take in, the emotional situations in our lives, these all have to be processed in some way. Often when they are not processed in the right way, it’s the gut that gets affected.
If you’re feeling bloated, if you have reflux after your meal etc, these could be signs that your gut health isn’t great.
So how can yoga help with gut health? When we are under a constant state of stress, this can throw our gut balance out. Yoga can help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, the relaxation response of our bodies, and this helps us slow down and bring more balance to our bodies, our digestion.
