About one hundred years ago, the famous author, Ernst Hemingway, in his quest for the answers to life, wrote about love, fear, and courage, in his book A Farewell to Arms which was set against the looming battlefields of WW1 as the Italian forces attempted to hold off Germany and Austria. Hemingway penned “The world breaks everyone. It kills the very good, the very gentle, and the very brave, impartially.” Unfortunately, he didn’t discover any answers, so where does that leave the reader?
Nevertheless, thousands of years ago, just before an historical battle – The Battle of Kurukshetra – a famous dialogue took place between the Supreme Lord, Sri Krishna, and his friend Arjuna. In this dialogue Sri Krishna clearly, and unambiguously, answered the secrets of life. These answers are timeless keys for a happy life.
